The IDEA behind the Campaign
Think about it - a group of individuals, businesses, churches, and others pay off medical debt for financially distressed individuals living in our area. This is done in the same way Christ paid the ultimate debt giving us the gift of Salvation (a debt he did not owe). This anonymous gesture honors Christ as we minister to the less fortunate.
How the Process Works
- Individuals, businesses, churches, and others Pledge to Help.
- First Pledge Assessment to determine the requirements for the Second Pledge Phase. All pledges are contingent pledges until the Second Pledge Assessment.
- Second Pledge Assessment and the Scope of the Debt Payoff's determined.
- The Pledge information is provided to Undue Medical Debt so they can register the amounts and securely process the donations.
- The medical debt payoff is finalized with the different medical institutions and a report is provided showing amount of total debt paid off and how many individuals received much needed relief.
- All pledges and donations are discreetly tracked by the local campaign committee.

- September 2024 - First Pledge Assessment Review
- December 2024 - Second Pledge Assessment Review
- December 2024 - Scope of Debt Payoff is Determined
- Early 2025 - Finalizing of all intended Debt Payoff
- Spring 2025 - Campaign Ends
- Spring 2025 - Public Announcement reflecting how much Debt was paid off and the number of individuals assisted
